When I first installed the software and plugged in the tablet, it also opened up the recognize keyboard window (I really should have thought to take screenshots but I was seriously just cluelessly trying things out and it worked. But this was literally the only thing I found when I googled the problem, so if it doesn't help you, then maybe it'll help someone else who searches it. My only difference is that I've updated to Yosemite, so this info may or may not be applicable.
I just got a Huion H610 tablet and I was having this same problem.
It works fine on my MacBook Pro but I want to use it on a desk top, permanently connected to my G4 rather than with a laptop. Huion have assured me that the software and tablet are compatible with PowerPC Macs and OS 10.4 and up. plist file which may have messed up my installation. I think it has something to do with the keyboard settings which came up when I connected the tablet but it's so long since I delved into Leopard's system (my main Mac is on Mavericks) that I can't think where to look for the.
When the TabletSettings application is launched, it says, 'TabletNotFound' (without spaces). Also, when using a brush tool, it is not possible to make a bruxh stroke as the curso just leaves a dot. with the selection tool selected, when 'clicked' on a position in an image, a rectangular selection appears to the top left of the cursor (which is at the bottom right) as if I had drag selected rather than just clicked. Moving the stylus does move the cursor but its actions in something like Photoshop are completely wrong and unusable e.g. I have re-installed the software several times but get the same results.
As I hadn't yet installed the drivers and other software for the H610, I cancelled this.Īfter having installed everything, I now find that the H610 software does not recognise that the graphics tablet is connected. Let’s rally up and fix this.I just connected a Huion H610 graphics tablet to my G4 running OS 10.5.8 (Leopard) and a screen appeared which said that I was connecting a new keyboard and did I want to configure it. I love that the staff can go find answers for us but get back to us too, please. PLEASE HELP US OUT!Ĭheck out the post from Lilly Vogelesang in this post. You all make great software but can we get some support here? Those in this forum are not the only ones who need help and you have soooo many potential customers to aid with this ability. I’ve read posts about Toon Boom staff reaching out to these companies but we’ve never heard anything back. Which intrepid set of coders and programmers exists to solve the problem!? I enjoy the Harmony software and see the potential in it, but I’ve been reading posts about this problem going way back to a decade ago.
If I had known it was going to be this ridiculous, I would have bought TV Paint instead. I’ve been thinking if there is a way we can collectively start to seek support from said companies and find a way for these tablet monitors to mix with the software better. Thecipherdog, I feel your pain as I have a Yiynova 19U and have the same issues. My hope is that we can put our heads together and crack this. I’ve searched Cintiq, Ugee, X-Pen, Huion, and Yiynova and there are issues everywhere. I wish there can be a thread where we can all try to figure this out. i was going to purchase a Cintiq but after reading this post, I feel as if it was never inteded for a dual setup (which is terrible because it really improves the workflow). I also have a Yiynova and have the same problem.
Which Cintiq do you have? I’m hoping to compare notes. Hey stevem641, you said you have trouble getting dual monitor setups to work.
